If I have a 15 minute presentation. It renders in about an hour. Then if I make a tine change to one photo, I have to wait another hour. Is there a way to use all of the stuff it just took an hour to render before..

    Thanks,
    Chris

From Liam Kennedy’s reply 2 posts down titled “Re: Render to avi before print to tape?”
    (some snipping for brevity)

Render the project. Having this seperate rendered AVI will allow you to have more flexibility to fix any little things that you need to work on. Load that AVI back into the original project on tracks above the existing tracks. Mute the audio track (or delete it) as the audio will still be there from the tracks below.

Now – if you notice you had a typo on some text – or that you need to modify the timings/duration of a transition you can do that now by “slicing” away the small sections of your rendered AVI to expose the underlying original media/events. Now make your changes.
