Thanks for the info Fotis_Greece. I knew Vegas couldn’t do it but, since I’m not an audio engineer, I wasn’t really sure what could.

If I’m not mistaken, the only special thing about the BWF format is that it contains extra data such as timecode and therefore won’t do what vsv wants.
To vsv, if it’s a 5.1 surround track you want to import, you’d need to save them out as separate channels in another application that offers this feature.
If it’s six separate channels, they can be imported separately and then lined up in Vegas.
My apologies if this is not what you’re after but saying “six channel in wav container” still doesn’t tell us much.Mike

If you mean 4 channels of camcorder audio, the answer is Scenalyzer.
If you mean something else, you need to be more specific.Mike

First of all, unless you really don’t care about the cost, try Vegas Movie Studio+DVD instead of Vegas. It’s a lot less money and you get DVD authoring built in. The feature set is less as well but, once again, it’s a lot cheaper.

A minor correction Ramona. Wegas will open still image sequences. I do this all the time with animations created in Lghtwave.

Steve, the 13″ delvcam looks like it would probably be the better choice.
One thing to watch out for though. Make very certain that your tripod head can handle the extra weight of the prompter/monitor combination. A lot of low-end models are only rated for a maximum of 10 lb. so buyer beware.Mike
