small LCD or 13″ CRT? Opinions please!
Long story short, looking for thoughts and opinions on a choice between an add-on 7″ LCD screen to be used with an EZPrompter, which can also be used as an extra camera monitor, turned around for the talent to see a monitor, etc. OR a low cost CRT monitor such as the 13″ delvcam at Markertek.com. I know these serve different functions, but since I can get one or the other I’m wondering which is the more functional choice. Currently I edit on 19″ LCDs at work and have no other monitors.

Steve, the 13″ delvcam looks like it would probably be the better choice.
One thing to watch out for though. Make very certain that your tripod head can handle the extra weight of the prompter/monitor combination. A lot of low-end models are only rated for a maximum of 10 lb. so buyer beware.Mike
