Just place the cursor at the right or left side of the transition and drag it forwards or backwards to the desired length. It helps to be zoomed in on the timeline quite a bit.

All I can tell you is what Edward (Troxel) said on another Vegas forum and that was:

It appears to run fine in Vegas 7 – there’s just no installer for Vegas 7. If you have the four base files, you can simply copy them over to the Script Menu folder in Vegas 7.

Google AUTOEXEC.NT error and you’ll be surprised at the number of links you get.

As I said, I use DVD Architect to do everything except the actual burning of the DVD.
When I say Prepare, I’m referring to the Prepare option after you have everything laid out and ready to go. This creates the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders in a directory of your choice.
Once this is done, just burn it as a data disc. Nero (or other apps) may try to re-encode it if yo utell it to burn it as a DVD.

Sony is notorious for having poor DVD recorder support.
What a lot of folks do (myself included) is to prepare the DVD in DVDA and then use an external app (I use RecordNow) to do the actual burning as a data disc. Works like a charm!!

It’s actually an MJPEG file which is why Vegas doesn’t see the video.
Here’s two things to try.
#1. Open the file in VirtualDub and re-save it (under a different name). Use “Direct Stream Copy” mode so that it doesn’t get re-compressed.
#2. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to buy a codec.
The two recommended ones (both around $20) are from Morgan Multimedia and MainConcept.

Why? If it’s a 16:9 project, I’d make sure every media asset matched that setting.
