Click on the exe file link that you got from the email that Magix sent you when you purchased it. Follow the prompts after that. When you first run it you’ll be asked for the serial number that you got when you purchased it. It should be in the same email.
That’s all there is to it. -

John, here’s a technique I stumbled across on the Sony Vegas forum a few years ago that may be of some help.
Put 3 filters, “Invert” (at 100%), “Color Corrector”, “Invert” (at 100%).
Then lift up the gamma of the color corrector in the middle.
This darkens highlights first, in the logarithmic fashion, more like a “iris closing” way.
You can also put a color corrector secondary to select reds and lower the gamma a bit.Good luck 🙂

Any version that’s version 7 or newer will be able to open your file. I can’t speak for 8 or 9 but know that any version newer than 10 will work with Windows 10. Try sites like Amazon or B&H for older versions to purchase.

Mark me down as another user who does NOT like the new look. There were changes requested to the colour icons to make them stand out better. I don’t remember anyone asking for black and white. Sorry but IMO it looks ugly 🙁

Roger, I did a quick Google search on “sony vegas loudness meter” (without the quotes) and came up with this. More searching will probably show more sites.

The second is after my (rather limited) attempt at correction.
I masked the singer on the right so that any adjustments would only affect her.
