Thanks Neil! That’s exactly what I thought, but wanted to be sure. I’m so glad it works. I just finished that whole process myself and now have both the full and lite versions on my computer and can run either one. Perfect!

Thanks for responding. I just found that thread. It didn’t show up with the terms I had searched for. For anyone else that’s looking, here’s the link. https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/277/25547 There is someone in that thread that said he’s gotten it to work.

Neil, could you describe how you accomplished this? Have you experienced any issues at all? Thanks.

Thanks! That is exactly what I thought, and glad I now know for sure.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the numbers for the settings supposed to update as you move frame by frame along the dynamic?

When I opened up Resolve today I checked the shots I was having this issue with and they dynamics appear to be working now but the numbers in the interface are not changing until it actually reaches the keyframe.

  • Ok, thanks for the clarification.

On another note, is there any chance we’ll see LUT support in the Intensity Extreme or Ultra Studio Express? It’s really important and needed.

  • It’s holding the settings for me.

  • Okay thanks. I’ll do that. Though it looks like it may all be an issue with my Retina MBP which failed the hardware test and turned out to be defective. Apple is sending me a replacement.

  • Okay, so I won’t select Render then. However, regardless of whether or not I should be selecting Render, there’s still a problem.

A new install of 4.0.4 and selecting Render causes the whole system to go haywire.

Restoring 4.0.1 and selecting Render works fine. No issues.

Restoring 4.0.1 and then upgrading to 4.0.4 via App Store work fine also. I gave that a shot earlier and it worked. So there appears to potentially be an issue with new installs of Compressor.

Thanks for replying. It’s working now, though I’m not sure why since that’s basically what I was doing. I did restart the computer, so maybe that had something to do with it.
