Is it possible to have the Lite and Full version installed on the same system? Sometimes when I’m working on set and don’t need the extra Full version feature I don’t want to take the dongle with me (always worried about losing it) and am tired of uninstalling and reinstalling the 2 versions to accommodate my needs. Can I just install the Lite version, move it into a “Resolve Lite” folder or rename it, and then install the Full version and be able to run one or the other any time?

Wouldn’t it easier just try installing them both and see if it’s possible?

There was just a thread about this.. looks like it’s not possible, unless you have a dual-boot system. But if you find a way to do this, please let us know!

Thanks for responding. I just found that thread. It didn’t show up with the terms I had searched for. For anyone else that’s looking, here’s the link. https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/277/25547 There is someone in that thread that said he’s gotten it to work.

I’ve just posted how I’ve been managing this. Please note that Rohit of BMD has also posted on that thread that this is not really supported by BMD. So, YMMV.

    Go back to the thread

    to read about my method.
