  • It actually looks like it does work ok, I tried with a much simpler object (cube) and added noise distortion to it and it animates fine, it does change a little when it moves but no problem (using object instead of line based noise helps).

    I think the problem comes with deformed objects, when one part is deformed it has an impact on the distortion of other parts of the object.

    Isn’t that just noise ? have you tried to crank up the sampling/anti aliasing very high just to see if it goes away.

    Is it only on the floor tiles, nothing else ?

    Just for information, this was a bug in S22, it has been fixed in S22.116.

    No that’s the onion skin feature, that’s not what I mean.

    What I mean is when you add a motion clip you an see a “stickman” of the rig where the motion clip ends like in the picture, I only see the rigged character on the left not the part on the right.

    I bought 3 old HP Proliant rack servers (DL380 gen 7) for 200 euro each so total 600 euro, about the same in US currency (64 GB ram in each).

    This is nothing extreme but it’s cheap, each server run cinebench R21 around 2700 with two Xeon X5650 CPU’s.

    It’s DDR3 memory and older CPU’s so no match for modern HW but they are cheap, only downside is power usage, at full speed all rendering they use around 800 watts and do generate a fair amount of noise and heat.
