  • Alembic imported objects cannot be textured ?

I searched about it but it looks like no one actually use Alembic files in C4D, lets say I animate in some other software with dynamics and all so I have to export it as Alembic files, I have 100 Alembic files with the same character in different animations, there must be a away to apply the textures one time and then copy/paste them into the other alembic files when I import them into C4D, without that there is no use of Alembic file support, even an 20 year old version of Lightwave can do this in a few seconds, so the question is how do I do it in C4D ?

Can I create a dummy Alembic with just one frame, apply all the materials to that one and then just copy them to the other ones when I import them in some way ?

Ok, forget about it, I figured out a workaround for it.
