I like to save my renders in the queue so I have an idea how long it takes to render a composition under different settings. I’d suggest saving one or two.

    Welcome to England!
I’m an American currently living in Devon. (SouthWest Engand for those who don’t know.) I’ll be in London in the week of the bank holiday, so maybe there’ll be a chance to meet up.

What? Trapcode’s plug-ins are quite cheap when compared to many other ones you can buy. And considering how good they are, how powerful, how versatile, how useful, how absolutely incredible, it’s amazing that they can sell them so cheaply.

AE 6.5 comes with some CC plugins that do something similar.

  • Foam can constrain particles to an area based on gradient colours. Surely you’d be able to use that to your advantage.

Or, possibly, you may be referring to the Shine effect with the beams of light coming through the text.

If that’s what you’re after you want Trapcode’s Shine; you can find it at https://www.trapcode.com

Don’t export your footage from AE! Use the Render Queue, it’s much more powerful and has many more options.

First of all make sure you’re using a smooth font. 🙂
If you are then make sure your layer is set to best quality and your composition window is set to full resolution.

Well, I’ve never thought Service Pack 2 was a good idea and I blame everything XP does wrong with anyone’s computer on SP2, but I don’t think that it’s neccasarily the culprit on this occasion.
But we need a bit more info first. What format is your music file in? What format are you rendering into? etc.
