The funny thing is cheaper players are more likely to play PAL but there are only a handful, would never want to release a PAL dvd in the US based on these few machines.
FWIW – I got one a long time ago $35 that even did converting, Played Pal DVDs to NTSC TV.

This is because you are not understanding what remap is trying to do, naming take the same footage (same frames at in and out points). So it will have to adjust both sides to make this happen.
To do what you want to do there needs to be a cut (instead of a keyframe) then you make the clip to the right 25% and it will now push everything down, since the clip is 4x as long in duration. but the clip on the right will pick up where the other clip leaves off and be at 100%. Now you can adjust the start of the first clip to be later if you need it to fit in the same time slot as before.

DVCAM and DV(25) are the same thing once captured. DVCAM uses more tape to record the same amount of info so there are less chances of have record problems. The tape is also made to a higher standard. That is why a Mini DVCAM tape will record 40 min of DVCAM or 60 min. of DV and when shot on DVCAM setting you cannot play it back in nonDVCAM decks.
But it is transparent on capture.

I did go to the site and looked at some of their stuff I wonder if using the card below and the duel Adapter would work for the newer systems with PCIe slots.

There are always rumors but they are normally just that. If you can wait until NAB there maybe something. The question is can you make money with the camera now.
The only rumor I have heard is adding a HD-SDI out, but who knows.

Select the track, go to menu Modify> deselect “Stereo Pair” do back to Modify> deselect Link. Select the track you want to delete and press delete. Set the pan to 0 on the remain track.

640×480 is the computer square pixel equivalent to NTSC’s non-square pixel. So the question is where are you seeing that your footage is 640×480?
You should be capturing footage as 720×480 (sd widescreen or 4:3 are both 720×480 just the aspect ratio of the pixel is different .9 vs 1.2) when you view the footage in QT player it will display as 640×480 for 4:30 or 640×360 for 16:9)
