99% of the time the multicam clip has been rendered in the timeline, make sure you turn off Auto-Render. Fastest way to break this is to turn the track off and on and all should be good.

There is now such thing as this, there is nothing “RAW” about the video, SDHC is a type of the card and Class 6 is its speed.But the camera shoots .mp4 which is a version of h264 so there is a good chance that it will. You would need the camera connection kit to read the card. If you got the iPad and camera already why not be the one that test it out.
Also the subject is your email, not a good idea to post email in any post and it might have been a mistake here but doesn’t make sense for a subject.

Fine is Photoshop (you can resize them to 720×480 if you like, they will look wrong but that is okay.)(

what do you mean by this, since they are full screen you really cannot do much (just transitions between them), if you want to do scaling, pans or any moves like the Ken Burns effect they need to be oversized.NEVER go to H264 before going to DVD. NEVER, Export above setting as self contained.
Then do yourself a favor and take the movie to Compressor and encode it to m2v, making sure you keep it progressive. Then author the disc in DVDSP instead of iDVD, but iDVD will use the m2v also if you really need to use that.

Are you using external drive as your scratch drive (something other than your system drive). How is that drive formatted?
What are YOUR settings.

Unless you are talking about printing on the disc itself, don’t do it. Never put a label on any DVD.

Wow that is a lot of work to get you footage into FCP.
Saying you convert the files to .mov, is like saying I have a car, what type of car is it. What is the codec, that maybe the issue.
For multicam everything needs to match, codec, resolution or frame rate.

The cheapest solution is to buy a USB portable drive, put Leopard on it. Boot from that drive and use your duel until is fails, which is normally after the 5th time 🙂

There is no such thing as “nano” video, just video that will play on any iPod, it is just scaled but the device to fit the screen. The video can be lower res, 320×240 so it will all depend. Video is square pixel so you will want to transcode it to 720×480 and an editing codec like ProRes or DV.
Wether or not if it will be good will depend on what it is.

Just a suggestion. Check to make sure that the audio is not dual mono. A stereo converted to dual mono will be raised 4 dB.

Format the drive as Mac Extended (not journaled)
then for the PC get MacDrive, it is about $99 and this will give you the best playability all the way around.
