If your sequences are only one event, one video track and multiple audio tracks, then highlight the sequence and do an AutoSync. It will create a subclip of those tracks as a new source. If your timeline is multiple events, then break it down as best you can into “sub” sequences that only contain one event, one video, and multiple audio.

If you see the filename anywhere in your columns, you can always add them to either the CAMROLL or LABROLL column via the “duplicate column” feature. In doing that, the filename will show up in lieu of the tape name in the EDL to be used by da vinci.

If your sequence is only one event and has one video track with any number of audio tracks, select the sequence in the bins and do an AutoSync (bin menu). This will create a subclip to be used as source.

Try taking all the offline master clips and make a sequence of them. The hilight both the sequence and the new clips with media and try “relink to selected.” I am assuming that the clips have the same tape name and timecode range?

There is no internal converter to do that while capturing a live signal, the 422 signal is expected at the source in order to capture in a compressed DNxHD format. So you will need to do that outside the Media Composer.

Yes. Looking forward to expanded file and NLE support. But as an FYI, REDCINE also truncates .r3d files as well as create a single frame as .r3d to send off and a DP could create a new RMD file to be added to the post process.
