The F3 can produce 1080p 60fps with the use of the 4:4:4 /S-log upgrade key and you will need a suitable external recorder to record to.

As I said in my previous post these adapters work very well for shallow depth of field, however they have limitations with camera usability/mobility.

By starting a new thread is helps others who may have the same question find the answers they need without starting a new post.

I suggest you search first then ask away.

  • “With the F3 do i need to use clip browser?? ”

No, but you can use Clip Browser if that is what you know. EX1/3 workflow is the same for the F3 as they share the same codec.

I use Shot Put for file transfer off loading from the cards and XD Cam Transfer to re-wrap to Quicktime.

This is completely off topic to this thread, but if you are wanting the Letus adapter for shallow depth of field focus the Letus and Red Rock Encore adapters work well. However with any adapter there are limitations with trying to make an EX1/3 more than what it is and there are new camera solutions (FS100, PMW-F3) available now that make these type of adapters obsolete . I suggest you start a new post with your questions.

You missed his point, you yes human error is the problem, so maybe your producers should purchase more media so you aren’t over worked to the point of fatal errors.

I hate this thread, it pains me to read it and know that there will be others who make these same stupid mistakes.

    Good Luck
