The original film came from a digital camera. Into the computer as avi, and produced in Vegas 4. Now when I open up the veg file produced in Vegas 4, using Vegas 7 I lose the audio, except for the first few words…like it’s trying to play audio, but stops. When I was working with the original film in Vegas 4, I produced an mpeg 1 video. Now if I bring that mpeg 1 video produced with vegas 4, into the timeline of vegas 7, it shows audio, it starts to play but the audio drops out after a word or two. ??

I’m almost embarassad to say (; I have a new monitor and I had the audio for that monitor unplugged. The monitor I use for Vegas is on a separate system so it always had audio when I played the Vegas project. Once I put it on a DVD, that went in to the new monitor and the audio out from the DVD player was not connected to the proper audio in on the monitor. We all need a good chuckle every once in a while. Have a good week guys!

Mike…it doesn’t seem to want to set key frames on the generated media to make it scroll. I know how to set them on a normal clip, but it doesn’t seem to work the same with generated media. could you do step by step? Thanks.

Edwrd if you’re still around, I have played with this over and over and still can’t figure it out. Could you go step by step for me? I opened the software, inserted the video I want to loop. Went to the properties and found where it says end action, but can’t seem to find how to make it “point”. Thanks…

Thanks Edward, I will give the second one a try. They say their DVD player does not have a repeat function, of course I don’t know if they have looked for anything that might be labeled “loop function”. I will ask, but the second way should do the trick.
