Thanks John. I tried that and it seems to work although the video I rendered was only 4 1/2 minutes. It took the size from 65.8mb which I originally rendered it to mpeg1, down to 21.5mb mp4. Was vegas 10 the first version to have the internet conversions you are talking about or did version 8 or 9 have it first? Thought I might be able to find an earlier version for less than the current price for upgrading to 10. And if I did upgrade do you have any idea how large the file I would need to upload to his site would be using the internet conversions. Thanks.

Thanks for the idea. What I wound up doing was starting a new single movie project, pointed to the name of the movie, then in properties I clicked end action button, then clicked the command – link button, then clicked the destination button for the drop down and the name of the movie was in the drop down, and clicked on that. It works great. Thanks a lot for responding and giving me your ideas. Michael

Thanks for the great ideas. I tried using trak motion to size down one of the pictures and make it go from off screen on the top, flotating down the screen to off screen on the bottom as I had with pan/crop. The flicker is still there but I haven’t tried rendering progressive 24p(?). Before I go through the rendering process, I have well over 150 pictures and with pan/crop once I got the motion of the picture the way I wanted, all I had to do was select all the pictures, copy and paste attributes from the first one, and all the others had the same motion. I tried that with trak motion and that doesn’t seem to work. Is there another way without having to set each key frame for 150 pictures? Thanks.

I don’t know for sure why but I tried combining the track, and then normalizing, and that seemed to work! I do have sound forge and I was going to try that next. Thanks for the suggestions. Michael

Omer; Thanks for the response. I’m not sure how virtual dub will help. When I went to the link for virtual dub it was an offer for a free cd for video editing software which they called virtual dub, with sign up for other software suggestions they would be sending. Are you saying it does something Vegas does not? Or would it be possible to export the audio track from vegas as a wav file, then import back in? Or I also have other audio processing software like sound forge. Would that work? Thanks.
