Also curious what the difference is between rendering the entire project from vegas into avi then using dvda-4 starting new, single movie, choosing the avi file, make dvd, burn. Thanks.

OK so I take the finished vegas veg file (call it trade show), render it using vegas as mpeg-2 using the dvd architect ntsc video stream template. That will give me an mpg-2 file. Then how do I process the audio using vegas to an audio file? And then going into dvda-4 I would search for the mpeg-2 file “trade show”, and then how do I get the audio into dvda-4 to match the video? Thanks.
Good news Mike. I tried rendering to a different external drive and it worked fine!! Not sure why the other one wouldn’t but we’re good to go and thanks so much for your help.
Mike I just rendered it after converting the fat32 to ntfs and it did the same thing. The final size of the avi video is showing 4188397kb 3.99 gb
it always stops in the same place.
I could try rendering to a different drive?? Suggestions
Rendered as Template NTSC DV Type VIDEO FOR WINDOWS AVI
and custom menu for video set to BEST final size 4gb
and it is located on an external drive
Thanks for the help. Let me know if I can tell you more.
I just finished rendering the veg file again and noticed on the monitor it appeared to render everything to the end, yet when I opened the file and played it, once again it stopped with about two minutes to go so you may be right. Since I am a bit technically challenged 🙂 I would appreciate some guideance on making the changes. Thanks.
I’m guessing what you are talking about is different from actual hard drive space available? I do have about 25 gigs on the drive which should be more than enough. Could you give me an idea of where in the settings I would go to make the changes you suggest? Thanks for the help
