    Top to bottom;

    Camera,
    Light,
    Null object (controlling light POI),
    3D Black solid.

    The 3D Draft button isn’t selected…
    Hmmm, a mystery!

    Thank you though!

    Thanks, I’m giving that a go now, I’ve learnt a couple of useful expressions from it already (always good to expand from loopout.Duration…). But, my light isn’t casting a pool of light! Any ideas? The solid is set to accept lights… It’s very odd, I’ve played with lights quite a lot and never had this problem. Anyone have any ideas?

    I don’t know motion at all unfortunately. I think I should of been more clear though, the effect I’m trying to achieve is that of recording a pen’s strokes. So the ideal would be if there was a way to record what I did on my Wacom tablet as a movie. Thank you, though.

    Sorry, I meant you can export a quicktime and then DVD Studio Pro will convert it for you. But it takes ages…

    Okay, thanks guys! I think I shall just carry on trying to convince the powers that be that we really should be using the most up to date version of Final Cut on all our systems!

    Nest the sequence, and copy it on the timeline so one is on top of the other. Deinterlace both, but select different fields in the filters tab for each one, and adjust the transparency of the nested sequence on top. As good (if not better) than any filter out there.

    Export a quicktime and compress it in DVD Studio Pro? It’ll take ages though..
