The original poster wasn’t wanting to move just 1 sequence–his entire project was spread out over several drives, and I assume this includes clips and graphics not currently used in a sequence.
If he was just wanting to move a few finished sequences or a group of clips, consolidate would work well. However, when moving all media files (including renders) I’ve found it’s best to do it from the Finder/Explorer level or with a media mover program like MDV or MediaSift.

Holding Ctrl+Double clicking the title will open the title in the title tool so you can make changes and save over itself, which keeps you from having a lot of titles with .01, .02, etc… at the end of the names. However, it doesn’t autoupdate in the sequence.
The only way to autoupdate a sequence is to make your titles in a third party program like Photoshop and import them. Then, if you need to make a change, change it in Photoshop, save over itself, then delete the associated media in your Avid and batch import the now offline titles (don’t delete the Master clips!). This will autoupdate anywhere the imported titles are used.
If you need to keep the original photoshop file, make your change, save it as something different, delete associated media of your titles in the Avid, Batch Import offline clips, then select the title, hit Set Location, point to the new title name, hit OK. It will import the new title and autoupdate.

Shouldn’t be, but to check–load it up and try it. If it doesn’t work you’ll know. If it does work transfer the license from the old system to the new one so you don’t have watermarked footage.

Well, before you uninstall and reinstall the dongle driver, try replacing the battery. It’s cheap and could very well solve your issue. The folks on the Avid forums are a very smart bunch and I’d try that first. If it doesn’t work reinstall the software. Back up all of your project files first. If that doesn’t work email warranty@avid.com and give them all the information in your dongle dumper file. They should be able to help you there.

Word on the street is that the Mactel version of Avid will be finished/released end of Q1, which is coming up. Cross your fingers and hope Avid makes their deadline.

If you’re working on an Intel Mac you’re out of luck–the Universal Binary Avid codec hasn’t been released, and the older Avid codecs don’t work on the new Intel Macs. I suggest rendering your Avid files out in the Animation codec. It should work.

I agree completely!!
Avid needs to fix this, and they need to give us the ability to select multiple clips in a bin and do a global levels/pan adjustment. Then overhaul their effects editor. Then lower their prices. 🙂

Well, you can’t nest audio effects. You have 2 options:
1. Mixdown the de-esser effect then apply the reverb.
2. Drag your source clip to your Audiosuite tool. It should highlight the Master Clip button and the audio tracks available on that master clip. If it doesn’t automatically highlight them, click the Master Clip button and select your master clip from the drop down menu to the left of Master Clip. Choose your de-esser effect from the menu, tweak to taste. In your Audio suite tool you will now be able to choose what drive to render your effect to, what bin to put your rendered file in, etc… Set these then hit the Render button in your AudioSuite. It will render the de-esser effect, create a mixdown, then put that mixdown and a copy of the effect in the bin you chose. You can now cut the mixdown into your sequence or you can drag it to your AudioSuite tool and apply the reverb there. It’s basically the same as doing a mixdown in the timeline but gives you more options and control over your master clip, as well as automatically saves the effect for you.
