Wav files are uncompressed PCM so they are constant bit rate. There is no compression just bit depth

I wonder how many of the ‘over a million users’ of Frame.io are Adobe users? If they block other NLEs integration then they are likely to shed customers.

Two workarounds. My approach would be to copy the stack of clips to a new timeline. Place it a few seconds into the timeline so later you can extend both head and tail if you need handles. Replace the shot in your timeline with the timeline containing the clip stack. That way it looks and behaves like a compound but you can change anything in the new timeline and it represents in the original timeline.
An alternate method – go to deliver and render the file so all the keys are baked in. Edit new clip in original timeline in place of the stack.

I know you never use the word FINAL in a file name. I prefer to embed the date in a file name and in my Explorer window (Finder on Mac) I prefer to sort by creation date.
As for feedback, my workflow is fairly simple so dates and quoting file names in email is all I need. Frame.io certainly makes sense if you are dealing with a bigger team, multi comments and lots of versioning

Give me PC over Hackintosh any day. Having used Mac, Win and Linux over the past 20 years for Resolve I have chosen Win to run Resolve. I never let the machine go online except for the odd license of software and a particular upgrade of the OS. I don’t consider the Mac OS a reason to run a Hack
I have switched to Ryzen Threadripper (24 core) and also want to stay with NVIDIA which also helps me decide the hardware is more important than the OS to me.

It is odd. The edges of the image are true grey but the timeline and other areas do have the blue bias. I must admit, I hadn’t really noticed as I use a Decklink card to feed the external monitor and always tell clients to only judge on that monitor.

Are trade shows important anymore? Will it make any difference? I guess Apple can afford to be there but do they or any company need it anymore?

Some Fusion training videos might be a better place to start. There are some excellent tutorials on YouTube – people like JayAreTV, Casey Faris etc are good starting places. It is sometimes easier to get your stills into the edit timeline, get the duration set and then open that in the Fusion page from Edit.
