Try File-Place to get your own image in there. It will load it as a Smart Object. Control T to free transform, put it over your cover, then right click on the layer and choose create clipping mask.

I am kind of unsure as to what your problem is, so if this does not help, please further elaborate.

  • Could you be more specific?

What kind of retouching are you doing?

How is it visible once it “is out there”?

I remember reading somewhere on the COW that you should always scale any still image to 2x your video rez. So I make all my images 1440 x 960, and it looks great and is still pretty small.

I’m guessing that you just clicked the text tool somewhere on the document. You should click and drag to create a bounding box, then your text will flow automatically in it, unless it takes up to much space, then the extra text will not be displayed.

  • Will you be superimposing a background into it? A floor?

Thanks Sam, that article was very helpful.

I guess I was pretty naive to think we could pull decent audio using just a $20 RadioShack box.

This leaves me with two more questions, so bear with me.

-Would it be worth the money to get the Quicktap as opposed to the radioshack one we have? a $400 unit is out of the question.

-Is there a significant difference in sound quality between the QuickTap and the CellTap?

Maybe we are getting terrible audio due to the wiring or the landline or something, could a Cellphone with really good reception provide more clear audio, albeit, wireless?

    Thanks so much guys!

I would download some “grunge” or “paint stroke” or “paint splatter” brushes, then use them to erase the edges, varying which you use.

Same with the header. Either its the font (doubt it), or its a normal looking font that they erased parts of using a grungy brush.

Thanks for the info John, I visited the site and the products seem of high quality.

I have narrowed it down to
    https://www.jkaudio.com/quicktap.htm
as all we really need to do is record conversations, nothing fancy.

I scoured the web for reviews on the product but can not find any, does anyone have any experience with the QuickTap unit, as far as sound quality goes?

    Thanks!

    Good Day
