Hi Dave.
Easy Glow (part of The Werks Vol. 1) provides a Glow Style called “Out-Glow”, which will
put a glow on the outside of the object, leaving the inside intact. This is probably what you would use for a good neon glow.
You can even change the Glow Color From parameter to “This Layer”, which will make your
layer’s color the glow color.Give this a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Tom.
We’re glad you like the software.
Assuming that you want your flagpole to look like it’s in front of the flag,
you can change the Pole Nudge Z value to be more negative. This will push
the flag away from the flagpole.Let us know if you need any more help.

Hi John.
Would you mind sending my your AE project (just the .aep file, no extra media is necessary)?
I’d be happy to take a look.Which version of the Invig are you running? You mentioned trying to reinstall “404.”
Thanks.

Hi Laurie and Lasvideo.
We’ll need a little more information from you.
Laurie or Lasvideo: Could you send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
(send it to: matt@zaxwerks.com)
Or at least give me a detailed description of what the dialog says, including
the title of the dialog, any text in the dialog, and the button names.Lasvideo: Are you having trouble with a file named “very fast.ai”?
I’m not quite sure what we’re looking at here just yet.
Thanks.

Hi.
Assuming you’re using Invig Pro (it seems you are since you can create text), you have two options:
1. When the Startup dialog (the one that gives you the options to create text, open an Ill file, etc.) appears,
type Ctrl+I (or Cmd+I on the Mac) — as in Import a 3D Object. A file dialog will ask you to locate your 3D file.or
2. When the Startup dialog appears, create a new scene. Then, in the Options/Set-Up window, open the Object tab below
the 3D preview window. Inside that tab, there is an Object menu has an option called “Import 3D Object.” Choose that option. A file
dialog will ask you to locate your 3D file.Let me know if you need more assistance on any of these steps. I realize I made a few assumptions regarding your
level of expertise with the software.Matt Rhodes

Hi Eric.
Could you tell me about your computer setup?
– Which AE version are you using?
– Which version of the Invigorator are you using?
– Are you on the Mac or PC?
– Are you using multiple monitors?
– What type of graphics card do you have? We’ve seen some incompatibility issues on some systems/graphics cards. We may have a fix for you.
Thanks.

Hi Dante.
I’m assuming that you imported your logo as an EPS into After Effects and
that you added it to a Comp as a layer. You are then using that layer as a Layer Map
in the Invigorator. Correct? Here’s how the Invigorator handles this situation:
– When you add the logo as a layer to a Comp, it gets rasterized to a certain size in the Comp.
– When the Invigorator grabs the logo image, it gets the rasterized image of your logo.
– Therefore, if your Comp is 640×480 and your logo layer is scaled to be the same size as the Comp
window, the Invigorator will use the logo as if it’s a 640×480 image. To make your logo larger in the Invigorator, make your logo layer as large as you’d like it to be,
even if it ends up larger than the Comp window. The Invigorator will get the entire layer.Let me know if you need more assistance.
