I created a neon light and want it to glow but I don’t want the object it is over to glow. Is there a way to add a glow to one object and not another in the same comp window?

    Hi Dave.

Easy Glow (part of The Werks Vol. 1) provides a Glow Style called “Out-Glow”, which will
put a glow on the outside of the object, leaving the inside intact.

This is probably what you would use for a good neon glow.

You can even change the Glow Color From parameter to “This Layer”, which will make your
    layer’s color the glow color.

Give this a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Will this work in AE 5.5?
