April 21, 2008 at 6:34 pm in reply to: 3d flag: can’t get pole images to show up

    Hi Jeremy.

We’ve changed things slightly for v1.5 (which you can download from the Zaxwerks web site).
Make sure that the “Flag Poles” folder is in ~/Documents/Zaxwerks/3D Flag.
These folders are usually copied over once you first start 3D Flag 1.5 for the first time.

If you’ve copied your “Flag Poles” folder into your AE plug-ins folder (in the same folder as the 3D Flag plug-in), you can do the following:
    1. Find the folder ~/Documents/Zaxwerks/3D Flag.
    2. Delete it.
    3. Start AE and create a flag.

This should copy over the master files again.

April 17, 2008 at 5:33 pm in reply to: ProAnimator Plug-in In AECS3

    Hi Donovan.

We just updated PA to v4.5, which moves the Swatches Libraries (and Presets, and Maps) to a common folder, so I’d suggest doing the following:

    1. Go to https://zaxwerks.com/download and download PA v4.5. Install v4.5.

    2. Open the ProAnimator application *first* (do this before opening the AE plug-in version of PA).

    3. Your PA app and plug-in should now share a common set of Swatches.

The new, shared Swatches are in /Zaxwerks/ProAnimator

April 7, 2008 at 5:00 pm in reply to: How do I unistall 3d flag demo on MacPro?

    Hello Virgilio.

You can remove the 3D Flag plug-in by deleting the following folder:
    /Library/Plug-ins/FxPlug/Zaxwerks3DFlag.fxplug

Once that folder is deleted, the plug-in won’t show up in Motion or Final Cut Pro.

April 3, 2008 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Invig 4.5pro render speed drop over 4.0.9

    Hi Matt.

    Sorry about the delay.

    I rendered a second’s worth of frames using Invig v4.0.9 and v4.5.
They both took the same time to render.

Let me know if you have another test. Maybe something else changed in your system between v4.0.9 and v4.5 — or did you test it by swapping in/out the two versions of the Invig with the same scene?

March 31, 2008 at 6:07 pm in reply to: version 3 update no longer available?

    Hi Chris.

I now understand what you’re asking for. You’re correct in that we don’t have the old versions available for download directly on the site anymore.

Please email me at matt@zaxwerks.com (so I can get your proper email address) and I’ll send you an older version.

Tell me what you’re looking for:
    – Which platform (Mac/PC)
    – Which product (Invig PRO, Invig Classic, ProAnimator, ProModeler)

    Thanks.

March 28, 2008 at 4:34 pm in reply to: Can the dock panels problem be solved?

    Hi Ken.

This should be fixed with the next generation of the software — it’s being worked on now.

We realize it’s a hassle having to dock everything in AE, but we just couldn’t get our dual-modal dialogs to work properly when panels were undocked.

    Thanks.

    Hi Matt.

I can’t think of anything obvious that would cause such a slow-down.
Would you mind sending me your projects (or a good test version of it)?
I’ll do a few tests here.
