Invig 4.5pro render speed drop over 4.0.9
I have been playing with with Pro Invig 4.5
it seems to be extremely sluggish.
running xp pro32 – 4gig ram – qx9650 3ghz core 2 extreme – ae7.1 proI have a 1280×720 comp with many 3d ai layers of “extruded-transparency”.
no motion blur… but very tight camera to create shards of varying transparent “glass walls” …it takes 1 minute 38 seconds to render 1 frame in v4.0.9pro
i switch out the invig folder and run v4.5 and the render speed drops to 3 minutes 24 seconds per frame.anyone else experience such a noticeable drop in render speed?
any thoughts as to what the culprit might be?
did the same test in ae cs3:
v4.5 – 3 minutes 23 sec
v4.0.9 – 1 minute 32 secweird

I can’t think of anything obvious that would cause such a slow-down.
Would you mind sending me your projects (or a good test version of it)?

Sorry about the delay.
I rendered a second’s worth of frames using Invig v4.0.9 and v4.5.
They both took the same time to render.Let me know if you have another test. Maybe something else changed in your system between v4.0.9 and v4.5 — or did you test it by swapping in/out the two versions of the Invig with the same scene?
