Do a search on your hard drive, if that fails reinstall just LiveType from the installation DVD.

    Hope this helps-

Full frame or cropped 3X4 you will have to put it into a timeline and render out a version of it. Set your timeline to the format you wish your .mov file to be.

  • We need a little more infromation to help you. What version of Quicktime, OS, FCP? Was this file given to you are you trying to digitize it? What type of deck? Did you use an easy setup?

I have a Quad and if AE and compressing for DVD are your thing then it is worth it.

More storage is always better. As for price it depends on your tech support and technical knowlege. I build all my own boxes. I just don’t do Xserve and that advanced stuff.

But it all depends on what you edit. HD,SD,DV? If your editng DV those are overkill. SD it sounds like your on track. HD, haven’t got a clue!

    Hope this helps-

Your timeline settings don’t match your video that is on the timeline. BM should have an easy setup for the project that matches your footage. Use that so you don’t have to set everything manually.

The mp3 will always need to render.

BTW never use the system hard-drive. Really not a good idea. Always put your media on a separate drive. Make sure that drive is formated HFS+ Extended but NOT journaled! The system drive must be journaled but journaling will cause issues down the road with media.

    Hope this helps-
