I second Shane’s recommendation. I have the Dell 2407. You can still get these secondhand etc and they are excellent and reasonably priced. I hear that inside they are very similar to the Apple monitors. They also have 2 usb, a cf and an sd slot on the side and at least one usb on the back.

Just a thought. You can import omf into stp with video. I was hoping that you could export it with video too.

Hi. 720 by 576 is correct. If you are viewing it in a 4:3 frame then it should look squished, that is the anamorphic bit of FHA (Full Height Anamorphic). They will know what to do with it. Who are you supplying it to? I freelance for many broadcasters here in the UK and may be able to get you a name to talk to. Did they specify a codec?
You could ask them for a file and then use the function in compressor to drop a file into a new setting which copies the parameters. Here is a link to the itv delivery guidance doc. Hi Mark, just to clarify, do you really mean that you have 100 clips (angles) of the same piece of action? Or do you mean you have 100 clips which come from several different angles? It would make a BIG difference.

Definitely possible. If you look here https://www.digital-heaven.co.uk/freeware there is (amongst other good stuff) a free disk space (file size) calculator which should tell you how large your file will be when you know the format.

You could try Pando which is a personal p2p. The free version has a 2Gb limit. Ftping not a verb, how quaint! 53,000 Google entries say it is!

I’m probably reading this wrong but why don’t you just mark in and out on the used portion of the clip and export it?
