Yes, but that doesn’t mean you have to record the output of a switcher. Unless time is pressing, and as money is tight, record each camera, have the director direct the cameras and multicam it afterwards. Best of both worlds. I’ve never not had to use the iso recording at some point during an as live show yet.

Quite right. I forgot that step. In the new anamorphic seq, command a, right click, remove attributes, distort (and maybe scale).

Can you make the smallest file available? You can email me via my website … https://www.beermattonline.co.uk and you could send me a file via pando or some such. 3 heads are better than one.

Left field suggestion … why don’t you, make a copy of the files and try changing the suffix or the copies to .mov or dot anything you can think of and see if anything will open those copies.

Copy the sequence (command a, command c in the timeline) and paste them into an anamorphic sequence. I’m not in front of fcp now but I think that works.

Is there a reason why you can’t just record each camera, capture and then do your “live” vision mix in multicam? Is it time pressure?

I don’t think you will get any benefits from converting it to another codec. You want to make sure that you aren’t compressing it any more than it already is and if your sequence format is the same as your capture format then I don’t think you are. Feel free to send me a short clip, I’m grading a short film today and could do with a break!

Hi again. Are you keeping it in that codec when you put it into AE or FCP? I know we had problems keying dvcpro 50 green screen that came from digibeta and had much better luck in other codecs. If you wanted I could have a bash at a short clip. You can contact me direct through my site … beermattonline.co.uk

This is what I got with one click in AE using your version 3 … https://www.beermattonline.co.uk/3_00040.jpg Your jpegs are pretty noisy so it is hard to tell. What format is your footage?
