Dave, I was trying to being sarcastic. What I meant to say was that using a grey card like you suggest is a great thing to do and at one time, not so long ago would also have been the obvious thing to do even if you weren’t shooting multi camera. I nearly always do it with my DSLR still camera.

You can export it as an xml and then open it in fcp6. You need to choose the second latest version of xml.

As a work-around you can mark the gap and hit shift x to extract.

Well done! I agree that maybe very slightly slower would be good and perhaps a more basic fcp setup (less custom buttons) would be less scary for newbs.

Hi John, thanks for that. Where is it in the library? I can find filters I have added but not the native filters like broadcast safe.
