    Thank you Vince!
I had NOT figured that out yet, in fact I had made the necessary splines in 3DSMax as a quick fix..!
This helps a lot, thank you

Ae does not support SWF export anymore.

    Ack! When did that happen?
At least I am not crazy, I know it used to be under ‘export’.
Yes, this is for a ‘legacy’ project and has to be delivered in SWF format.. 🙁

There is some chatter I would like to smooth out. The tracking works great during larger moves, but when it needs to be nearly still you can notice spikes. I can probably do this manually, but I was hoping for something automatic.
Combustion had great tools for these type of instances.

    Same footage, different problem.
It is greenscreen of a man walking behind a chicken egg incubator cart.
I had to mask out several flags and c-stands that were seen through the cart (very tedious).
Now that I have that working and the masks stay consistent after time remapping, it is obvious the footage is stuttering through the time remapped part (sped up).

I started a new thread since it was a different problem. Others searching for this same problem may not find it in the masks thread.

To make matters worse, I have to camera track this scene and so far all tracks have failed. I have found lower res files work better. At 4K it fails, at 2K it solves (but incorrectly). I do have the lens info, but can’t get a clean track.

If you have an email I can send a screenshot/clip

Checking ‘preserve frame rate’ seems to have fixed it!

    Thank you

I printed out the tracking markers for $28 at Walmart on a 20×30 board print. It is very thick cardstock, almost like plastic, but I was able to cut it with heavy scissors. They should last a long time, and much better than printing paper and gluing them to cardstock/foamboard.

    Spencer,

Is there any need to take notes on lens info, distance between trackers, etc..?

    Spencer,

Thank you for the info! That all makes perfect sense.
I will have control over the shoot, so I can put as many c-stands with trackers on them I need.
We shoot wed, but the set will be ready Tue and I can run a test.

    I found a temporary workaround.
Here is what I was seeing before:
    https://tinypic.com/r/2rokh1s/8
I edited the manifest and changed dpiAware to FALSE and now it scales correctly (although a little blurry).. See here:

I’m not sure if this is a Sony problem or a Windows problem but at least it is usable now
