I think this is more a scaling issue within Vegas, it is not letting windows know that it should be scaled up.. Other programs are having the same problem with the new higher-res displays (apple calls it ‘retina display’).. Adobe had to send out a fix so all it’s programs would scale properly.. Here’s hoping Sony will do the same!

    Aha, you are correct..

For whatever reason, I guess I was always selecting bottom up…!

Thanks, that saves me lots of time re-ordering layers..! 🙂

Thanks guys, I’ve got all that.. I routinely use a specific work area and sometimes a region of interest.. But when I do a ram preview, it always goes past the end of my defined work area.. It looks like unchecking “From Current Time” did the trick!

Thanks John (wow, what a fast response!),

I think you are correct.. I notice it works fine in Adobe Premier and After Effects, and they both read that it is 23.976fps.. In fact, if I right-click the file and get properties, it is also shown as 24fps..

I’m not sure why Vegas is reading the FPS wrong, but is there a way to force it to see 24fps?

Oh, yes.. I see now! I didn’t realise those buttons selected the preferred color palette.. Somehow mine was on (R)ed! No wonder it was difficult selecting colors!

    Thanks!

Thanks Vishesh for the link, I will see if I can figure it out..

I see on the Export settings for SWF, there is a “Include Layer Markers Web Links” option.. Does that mean I can set a layer marker to a web link and when they click on it it goes to the site? That is exactly what I need..!

    Keith,

Thanks for looking at it.. I guess I should have been specific:

I can get it to rasterize, but not stay vector.. For file size specifications, I need it to stay vector.. There were many other elements to the logo and they all stay vector with no problems.. I don’t understand why this particular element will not stay vector..

That is great, basically an animated stroke reveal for shape paths!

    Yay!
