Export to SWF
Posted by Matthew Beall on October 24, 2016 at 10:21 pmI have a short animation that I need to deliver in SWF.
I do not see that as an option under “Export”.
How do I export to SWF?Michael Szalapski replied 9 years, 10 months ago 3 Members · 3 Replies -

October 25, 2016 at 7:23 amNot to be cheeky, but from Flash. Ae does not support SWF export anymore.
If you can down-save all the way to CS5.5/CS6, I think you can export SWF from one of them.

Ack! When did that happen?
At least I am not crazy, I know it used to be under ‘export’.
Yes, this is for a ‘legacy’ project and has to be delivered in SWF format.. 🙁 -

October 25, 2016 at 2:59 pmI think it’s still present in CS6. If so, CS6 is included in your Creative Cloud subscription. Save as CC version 12. Then open it in CC (version 12) and save as CS6. Open it in CS6 and export! ?
This page shows the hidden place to install old versions: https://blogs.adobe.com/adobecare/2015/06/16/how-to-find-and-install-previous-version-of-adobe-apps-in-cc-2015/
