May 17, 2015 at 10:27 pm in reply to: Toggle sequence between program and source monitorThere s no TOGGLE icon like in AVID but you can load your sequence in to the source monitor and cut that in to a new sequence.
Either right click on the sequence in the bin and select ‘Open in Source Monitor’ or just drag the sequence in the bin in to the source monitor.
You can either insert or overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips depending on your version of Premiere

[Alan Lacey] “Is it possible to add custom keyboard shortcuts to the tool under the select arrow”
I don’t believe so.
So the quickest way to access them that I know of is to press S to take you back to the last used tool or to press SHIFT + S to reset the tool back to the transform tool and then keep pressing TAB until you reach your desired tool. Apologies if you already do this.

In the Canvas, Control-click the object with the applied gradient, then choose Edit Gradient from the shortcut menu.
Drag the triangles around on the onscreen controls that should appear.
There is more information on the onscreen controls at https://help.apple.com/motion/mac/5.0/en/motion/usermanual/index.html#chapter=3%26section=10%26tasks=true

January 7, 2015 at 6:33 am in reply to: What is this button? And how did it get there? (FCPX DVD Menu)James,
When using the SHARE menu to create a DVD there is a check box under the SETTINGS tab which allows you to include chapter marker text as subtitles.
If you left this checked then you are experiencing the correct behaviour so I wouldn’t call it a bug.

Alan,
For what it’s worth I was just about to post that I didn’t have the same behaviour as you until I read your post again.
In CC 2014 I do have the same behaviour as you if I open a different project in between as you note. If i just close and open the same project then the bins retain their state as I suspect your CC does..
I am sorry but I don’t have a solution and in answer to your other question it doesn’t bug me. Ok, maybe a little.

I read my original post and realised I did a bad job of explaining my setup. The reflections shown in the image were “actual” reflections generated by motion.
As I said, I found the solution to my problem.

How did you update the event? FCP here won’t allow me.

Do you have the ability to select the event in and then choose FILE > Export Event XM?. I will be able to import that XML
I can’t remember if that was in 10.0.8
