Why? Dvpal is always lower first…
and avid can invert the field in import preference..
Anyway, you can do this by importing your dv file in fcp loading every clip in the canvas apply a shift filter and batch export all clip from the browser with the effect applied.

Try “DV-NTSC Firewire basic” preset

go to senquence setting>render control and uncheck filters under render & playback,
this will disable all filter rendering on selected sequence.
i notice that you need to close and reopen timeline
remember to reactivate before final output -
you can view the thumbnail in the list view.

try this…
on audio midi set up app. (Applications/utilities/audiomidi setup) setting up
all input and output on Blackamgic Audio
open soundtrack load your audio files.
Open Blackmagic Deck Control
load on it a video clip
so you can view on output monitor.
return to soundtrack.
et voila…
now you can hear somthing. -
You need to nest your clip with transformation apply a then apply widescreen matte to the sequence.
But i find more convenient to create the mask out side FC (Motion or Photoshop e.g.) and apply the matte on the top most layer. in this way you can make All the change you wont to all the clip without need nest. -
what is your sequence audio setup ?
1 stereo output?
is the signal routed to 4 channel or you see 4 chennel input active state?
are you work on insert or assemble? -
it ‘s because you have check single field when paused in BMD preference. this mean that when the playhead is stopped you watch only one field in video out..
