Changing field order on 1000 dv files
Posted by Anders Haavie on August 5, 2009 at 7:45 amIs there any way to easily change field order on lots of qt dv-pal files ? I have been told that our Avid guys need dvpal in upper field.

Avid can switch it on import if needed…But you’ll have other problems, like perhaps loosing metadata.
What are you trying to do?Bouke

Why? Dvpal is always lower first…
and avid can invert the field in import preference..
Anyway, you can do this by importing your dv file in fcp loading every clip in the canvas apply a shift filter and batch export all clip from the browser with the effect applied.

August 5, 2009 at 10:27 amHe told me that changing field order on the import didn’t work in Avid. I don’t know Avid good, so I am not sure what is wrong. I guess I will just give him qt dvpal lower (standard) and let him figure out what to do.
