Much better thank you. I did quarter the RAM res. & skipped frames.
Now when I finally render this out & give it to my editor it should play back fine on say Avid DS? Also, Kevin mentioned interlaced but the footage is De-interlaced. Should I change it to interlaced?

    Thanks in advance, Maryanne

January 8, 2009 at 5:54 pm in reply to: linear keyframe problem

Thanks Dave. I tried your suggestion but my problem was still happening. Then I realized that I was only making sure the last keyframe was linear. I changed the previous keyframe which was set for easy ease in to linear too. Of course it changed it back to a regular keyframe but when I changed it back to easy ease in it worked fine. Thanks again. Sometimes you just need another person to set you on a new path.

    Thanks in advance, Maryanne

August 18, 2008 at 1:19 pm in reply to: Page turn.

Unfortunately I no long have those project files. But I can tell you I used the page turn in After effects. Look under Distort/CC page turn. I set the pages up in Photoshop then brought them into AE. For the images on the opposite side of the page turn I had to flip/reverse thru photoshop in order for them to be right side in the AE project. If I remember correctly you can set where your pages are stationary. I anchored that on the spine of the magazine & played with the way I wanted the page turn to come in. Once I figured out the turn I duplicated that page & lined it up with the next page. Then changed the content on those pages using alt drag onto the page. Because I had set all the pages up in Photoshop they lined up correctly. I’ll try to post a file of what the final project looked like. Might take a few days. Working on a project. Hope this helps.-Maryanne

  • In response to Dave LaRonde’s idea:
I’ll try that but there’s really nothing to track to. It doesn’t have any knobs or anything. It’s kind of an abstract TV. I’ll have to take a closer look at the footage though. Thanks-M

  • In response to Thad’s idea.
The video or layer doesn’t move just the mask with in it moves. I don’t know how parenting would help. Unless you could parent the mask from that layer?

  • I want the video to move with the mask not reveal thru it. -M

Also I can’t motion track the TV screen object. It’s a round shape with other objects moving over the top of it. I tried.
