I have several objects in 3d space. There is a camera flying straight thru them. On the camera layer there are simple keyframes on point of interest & position. When it gets to the last keyframe it goes to the position a few frames before then moves backwards. I have checked to make sure that it is set for linear in the keyframe interpolation. There is no extra keyframes hidden any where. I am perplexed. Can anyone give me a suggestion for why this is happening? I am working on CS3 on a G5 if that helps any.
    Thanks in advance, Maryanne

Thanks Dave. I tried your suggestion but my problem was still happening. Then I realized that I was only making sure the last keyframe was linear. I changed the previous keyframe which was set for easy ease in to linear too. Of course it changed it back to a regular keyframe but when I changed it back to easy ease in it worked fine. Thanks again. Sometimes you just need another person to set you on a new path.

    Thanks in advance, Maryanne

I’m glad you solved the problem
but if it happens again, open keyframe interpolation
and just put the spatial interpolation to linear
that will conserve your easy ease out on the temporal interpolation.
another more precise way is to get a second view (2 views), look for the
keyframe that does strange things, zoom in a lot and work the spline-handle
of the keyframe (put it in the same direction of where the camera came from.)
