2 to 5 minutes is an extremely long time for a match move – it’s really designed for a short clip of a few seconds. It takes time to analyze all the pixels in the frame to try to determine the motion. I suspect with such a long clip you are likely running out of RAM.

Have you tried doing that in the keyframe editor, using the box tool to select the keyframes?

Command-option dragging on a keyframe in the Canvas will move the entire motion path without setting a new keyframe.

Ah, they did change it!
The kerning hotkeys were moved to command-option-[ and command-option-] since the OS now uses control-right/left arrow.—
