The tiles are not text. They are graphic images. Does that change your recommendation.

Actually that is my work flow for the most part.

I work with the timeline, some transistions and final video in Premiere, alpha channel text overs and some transistions in After Effects, and then export the audio from Premiere to a .wav. I then pull the wav into Audition to clean up the noise, tweak the EQ, lay down the music bed and add any sound effects, ambience, etc. Then export and lay that under the video in Premiere. Then render it out.

It is a very workable flow for me and allows me to focus on each aspect of the video. Thanks for the suggestion. If I weren’t alreday doing it, I’d try it 🙂

Here is a link that will make your day.

Read their terms. With the correct usage all of this is free.

Excellent information — and the additional quick keys were a plus.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the input — but perhaps I wasn’t clear — I’ve already done that. That explains the two differnt files:
    “original”
and “Same file with background noise pulled out.”

I posted both files so that you could see that I didn’t destroy the file by removing the constant background.

Let me restated my question — Now, since I have pulled the background noise out, what is my next step to make the target voice “brighter” / “stand out more?”

Are you saying that I didn’t pull enough of the background out?

Thanks for your patience and help.

  • If you are using Windows version 6.5, and you prefer a “mousey” approach you can do this:

In the Comp window Right Click the original photo to reveal the context sensitive menu and choose “Replace Footage –> File …”

It’s great to have multiple paths to the same end.

Yes. Unforunately there is not a single reference to CC Mr. Mercury and only one result for a search on “mercury” which has nothing to do with CC Mr. Mercury.

    Thanks for the reminder.
