Slime on text effect
I would like to make a blob of slime ooze over some text. I have searched the archives on for slime, goo, gel and the only post I’m getting is a terse reference to CC Mr. Mercury.
I have AE 6.5 pro and CC Mr. Mercury is there – but I can’t find any help or tutorials on using it. What I have done with it certainly doesn’t look like slime.
What are some ways that I might approach this?

Yes. Unforunately there is not a single reference to CC Mr. Mercury and only one result for a search on “mercury” which has nothing to do with CC Mr. Mercury.

… page 127.(It’s basically the same product, due to some licensing issues that allowed Boris to pick it up from Media 100 at the same time the original developers (cycore) were allowed to release it again. Or something like that. Please don’t ask me how they are similar or if you should buy it. I just have the filters that come with AE and an old Metacreations version of FEC.)

I think the Cycore FX Manual is a PDF file seperate from the AE help file. It will be a better source of info on the Cycore plugins.
