At the moment, the Share dialog is for one-off media. Maybe there will be an update that allows multiple copies. UNLESS… there’s an option that I am not aware of.

When in the Share dialog, look at the bottom and Send to Compressor. It will pass all of your menus and chapter markers, then it will burn your BluRay for you.

You’re not the only one to notice this. I, too, am seeing this same issue. We’ve been using the filters since they first came out.
But here’s something I would like for you to look at for me, Dean. Try using the Polarizer on a clip and tell me if it shows alot of noise in the clip. For me, its OK because I like that look but one of the other guys working in our shop won’t use it because of this. What do you see?

Well, that is the only workaround for this issue. BUT, if you have to change anything, you’ll have to back into Motion, change it and re-export back to FCP. Makes the workflow bigger than it has to be.

This is one of those issues that we have been fighting with for a very long time with Apple. It seems that Apple is just blowing us off because they feel this is a non-essential operation within FCP to warrant a fix.
The only work around is to export your program as a reference file or a complete Quicktime file and then use Compressor to compress to whatever format you want. It always works this way. But outputting from the timeline has never worked for me and for many out here on the COW.
Another idea for you… Delete the prefs for Compressor. They can get all screwed up just like in FCP. I would suggest that you look at Digital Rebellion’s FCS Maintenance Pack. It does an awesome job of doing these things for you at a reasonable price.

What is really frustrating is the fact that Apple has embedded this workflow into Final Cut since version 6 came out and this issue has always been there since the beginning.
Yes, this does suck!

No… You’ll need to reinstall your Video Flash Converter program. FCP ONLY uses what is installed in the Quicktime Library at the time of startup of FCP. If it’s not in the Quicktime Library folder FCP will not see it. But I would suggest that you look into On2 Technologies, Flix Exporter. Its only $200 and its perfect to work with inside of FCP and better yet, Compressor.

In that case, you;ll have to reinstall your program for Flash conversion.
Let me ask, have your clients been OK with the quality of the Flash files? I ask, because I tried that program a few years ago and it didn’t meet the quality the client was expecting. We, finally ended up having to purchase the On2 Flix Exporter from On2 Technologies. Everything was great after that.
