Are you sure audio skimming (Shift-S) is toggled on? Sometimes my system ‘forgets’ that it’s supposed to be on.

I’m not sure if this will work, but you might what to check out the “Producers’ Best Friend” app from Intelligent Assistance. It generates a lot of reports you normally couldn’t do in FCPX. A quick web search should give you a link.

There’s a multi-platform, open source program called DVDStyler that might work. I have it on my Linux machine, but I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. There are versions for Windows, Mac and Linux. Search ‘DVDStyler download’ to find the link.
