Can’t hear audio when skimming
I have a series of interviews. When I skim them, I can’t hear their audio, although the audio meter is working.
If I drag the interview to the timeline and detach audio then make it a dual mono, I can hear the audio. Thoughts?Greg Ball, President

Are you using a Blackmagic device perhaps?

no. but if i double click on a clip in the browser and select mono, I can hear it. Very weird.

Are you sure audio skimming (Shift-S) is toggled on? Sometimes my system ‘forgets’ that it’s supposed to be on.

Yes it’s turned on. As a matter of fact, I can skim the multiclip files in the browser and those work. But the interviews do not.

That’s not it. I haven’t changed anything. I can’t monitor stereo audio. Only mono.
