Try adding a low frequency cutoff at around 380 Hz and a high frequency cutoff around 3kHz.

Are you sure that your other layers are 3D layers? Lights don’t effect 2D layers.

Highlight tracks 1 & 2 and click apple-C
Highlight tracks 3 & 4 and click option-V. In the dialog box that comes up click on audio levels and/or pan.

Try downloading the demo for Studio Suite 8. It sounds like it may be able to take care of what you’re looking for. The demo is a stand-alone program which runs for 15 days if I remember correctly. You will need a copy of FileMaker 8 if you decide to purchase the program. I’ve been looking into it for the past few months, but haven’t made the purchase yet.

Effect > Color Correction > Leave Color
Click the color sample tool on the red you want to leave, turn ‘Amount to Decolor’ up to 100% and tweak the tolerance and edge softness.

I was making a slideshow using 360 jpeg images. As soon as I keyframe assistant>distribute layers I got the error message. Since I was on a tight deadline I really didn’t have time to mess with it. The same file worked fine in 6.5. Now that the project is finished, I may go back and poke around to try to figure out just where the problem is.
