  • I ran into the same error running CS3 on my G5 last week. I ended up completing the project in 6.5.

It sounds like you’re using a demo version of the plug-in.

You need to order a Tiffen or Wratten 47B dark blue photographic filter. I got mine at B&H photo – bhphotovideo (dot) com

I haven’t done any detailed tests, but I’ve noticed that when doing color correction, Color Finesse 2 on CS3 runs about 40-50 slower than Color Finesse 1.5 on AE 6.5 for the same file.

Films, television shows, books, plays, music etc. are protected by copyrights. Trademarks are, as you said, for logos.

In 6.5 you need the pro version to run scripts.

July 29, 2007 at 12:19 am in reply to: lower third theology

Here are a few things to keep in mind for broadcast lower-thirds:

Keep all text inside the safe title area.

Avoid fonts with thin serifs – generally stick with sans serif fonts.

Avoid highly saturated reds – NTSC HATES reds.

Keep your whites to around 235-235-235. 100% white may cause audio problems.

Avoid all caps unless it’s for very short bits of text.

Keep your lower thirds short. Don’t take five words to say something if you can say it clearly with two.
