Apoligies for that – when I tried it myself – realised that it had errors – instead download this DLL
https://www.markandfi.com/mgreenwood/Upload/IncreaseLength.dll
And copy that into your script folder,
fingers crossed this will work for you 🙂
Just tried it here at home on a clean machine and it worked…

Sounds like you still have the MOVIE Audio on the timeline – if you are copying the movie from the TRIMMER window – if you click the TAB key you can alternate between copying movie AND audio, movie only or audio only – that way you can get just the movie onto the timeline.
If you already have your movie and audio on the timeline click the clips and press the ‘U’ key – this will UNGROUP the Movie from the Audio – you can then highligh the movie audio files and delete them from the timeline.
That way you should just have your various movie tracks and your single soundtrack audio – that should do the trick,
If I have missed something – please explain further…

True of pretty much everything in the world of computers.
If you are worrying about the people you are sending it to copying it then there is little you can do,
If you want to protect it from general abuse – Zip the video up and encrypt the ZIP file – and then only share the password with the people you want to watch it – but other than that there is little you can do….

February 5, 2010 at 3:16 am in reply to: Problem playing HD video in Sony vegas pro 8It might be as simple as your computer is not quite able to render in “real time” the video in the preview window.
try Rendering out a small portion of the video and see if the rendered version is OK.
Also in the preview window make sure that the Preview (Auto) or Draft (Auto) is selected. If it’s BEST then that might explain why it LOOKS out of sync but actually isn’t…

February 5, 2010 at 3:12 am in reply to: My New Winodw 7 just installed Vegas Pro 64 bit having Probs now…Have you run GSPOT on the AVI’s to see if the Codec is present?
Even if GSPOT says they ae – you might find it’s indicating that the 32 bit one is present. I’m not sure why Vegas x64 can’t use a 32bit Codec – I’d have to look at their sourec code for that!
Bit I know that Camtasia defintaely has that problem – I even emailed their support last week and was told to put in as a feature request!!

February 5, 2010 at 1:01 am in reply to: My New Winodw 7 just installed Vegas Pro 64 bit having Probs now…I have WIN 7×64 and run Vegas x64 – the only issue you are are going to have is when the particlar codec that was used does NOT have an x64 bit version.
For example Camtasia (screen capture program) does not currently ship an x64 bit codec – which means editing on a 32bit Vegas works fine – in x64 I can only import the audio – grrrr…
You might be able to open the AVI outside of Vegas and then re-render with a known working format – or install Vegas 32bit when you have a wierd problem like this…
Painful I know

Are you rendering with a different setting to the prject. For example if your project is set to 720×576 NSTC and you are rendering to say 600×400 then the zoom and picture will be out – set the project in File / Properties to the same format you render to – that should then do the trick….

Sorry just so I understand – are you saying that you DON’T have the original video files AND the original DVD Architect Project file?
You can only remove items from a DVD if you re-create the content of the DVD and to do that you need the original project file and the original video files / photos / audio files (whatever is the content) – or create the project again from scratch.

First thing to check – when you render is the checkbox “only render loop region” selected. If it is then it will only render a potentially small amount of the video and this might be the cause of the issue.
second question – does this just happen on a particular video – or can you get ANYTHING to render.
third question – is it possible that you have the tracks you want on MUTE – or just a couple of tracks on SOLO – again this might cause render issues.
check these first and then maybe we look at codecs and video issues 🙂

Have you tried updating to version 9.0C?
That may well rectify the issue,
Mark.
