I would use a circular mask and something like cc lens or a bulge filter (Boris cc4 has this).

After effects has an excellent paint engine….You can use things like the clone tool, or paint tools to paint out either frame by frame, or every few frames etc. To use paint, you have to open the layer in the viewer (Double click on the layer in the timeline)

If the changes are from rando to text, then you don’t need an expression. Add a text animator and use the character offset.

    The keyboard shortcut is control-shift-Y.

In the menus, the change settings changes depending on what is selected in the timeline. If you have a camera selected and go through the menus, then it will be change camera settings which will be available etc….

November 28, 2006 at 2:26 pm in reply to: make a ball bounce to text- for sig along

I would convert music to audio keyframes, then use an expression to control the y-poistion of the ball. Then I would scroll the words and under the ball.
If you want the ball to move in x-position, then I would parent it to a null and move the null.

    Hope this helps

Make sure that all of your settings are correct in the render queue when you save frame as. If all is properly set (format, compression etc), then you will not have a blurry picture.
