Hi.
It should be elementary for users with fcp experience that gui picture is just for reference.
Some cases HDMI devices also generate a lot of delay.
I have seen it in audio post. Users have to adjust delay compensation
that goes sideways with hdmi devices with internal processing.
Even when there is no processing involved. Panel engines are slow.—

I think RR could be bad seed here as it tends to give you dropped frames.
Ask Bob Zelin on SAN forum here on cows.
For test populate all available bays with empty drives, lets say 2 tb ones.
Stripe them together and use it to playback something.
You should get some 300 MB sec with 3 drives.If it plays nicely then RR is bad by design or by unit.

4000 has more cores if you look in tech spec sheet.

You just have to build direct vpn tunnels.
It is pretty eazy if you have any networking experience.
I edit some audio stuff over internet from my home machine
connected directly to my office via tunnel.All media even in the office machine.
It is doable.

For this kind of stuff one would want to use mocha Pro.
Masks, replacement, mattes the works.
I see no point having them in Resolve.
Better to have one really good product than one that does everything just a little bit.—
