Sometimes its better to chek the HDMI cabel for the regular DVD player, instead of thinking somethings wrong with Vegas or Architect.
I changed my shitty cabel with a new HDMI, and Their I had audio 🙂

    Hey Mike.
Thanx for the advice, but before I red it, I actually solved it in a very simple manner.
I went directly to the shaky snapshot in the timeline and I did this:
    “rightclick/switches/reudce interlace flicker”

and now the frames are dead-steady 😉

Thanx alot John. That AC3 trick was brilliant.
And the “Wave hammer” effect is cool too. It makes a sound lot more crispy, but here apears another problem John.

    Problem:
We have recorded the whole movie with a boom stick, so “wave hammer” not only makes the dialog crispy, but also makes the backround noice also more crispy, so you actually hear a constant tone, very low but it is still there.

    What have I tried:
When I unchek the “Wave hammer”, then the background noice is not so obviuse and loud.

    Question:
1- How can I keep the nice crisp of “Wave Hammer” but reduce the backgrond noice?
2- Is there any affects at Vegas, (some sort of gate etc) that can “kill” that background noice?

    Thanx on advance

    Regurds

Dear Jeff. do this it may help.
on the upper left corner, Next to “file” and “Edit” you have “view”.
    Go to:
“View”, then “window layouts” and press “Load default setting”

Hey Guys I solved it (in a way)
I just add the color effects on the “Video output track” of my first project and everything is just fine. 😉

Still I’m puzzled about the problems while rendering MXF to MXF though!

  • Thanx to Mike and Julie I’m back on track and my Pan/crop window is baaaaaaaaaaaaack! Jubiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Well I had to use both your advices bc Mikes dot-dragging didn’t help unless, as Julie said, I pressed the Control.

Thanx alot to both of you.
