Rendering to MXF in Vegas 8.

I’m working on a HD-movie that is 1h.32 min. After editing. I rendered the movie from MXF to DVD, just for testing, and it looked cool, without any problem.

Now I want to add som color effects on the whole movie.
So I reopende my project and this time I render the whole project from MXF to a new MXF.
So I’ll have the whole movie on 1 track, so I easily can add my color effects.

    Problem:
After opening the new MXF file on the clipboard, on 17 occations during the whole movie, I get horizontal pixel error, on the buttom of the frame, for half of sec, during the frame changes.

    For example:

    I have frame A then Frame B.
When Frame B apears, you can stil see 3 cm of frame A (like pixel error)in the buttom for 1/2 sec.

    What have I tried:

I reopende the first project and crossfaded frames on the parts that crashed. and re-rendered it again to MXF. it helped on few occations, but still 13 occations of pixel error.

I even deleted the crashy frames and put in a new version of the same frame, just to make sure It isn’t something that has happend to the frame while working on the movie.

    Still pixel error.

    My questions!

1- Any help to fix the error?

2- Have I done something dumb with does crashy frames that I’m not awear of?

3- Why is it that some particular frames crash and others dont?

4- Why it doesnt crash when rendering MXF to HD or DVD, but it crashes when rendering MXF to MXF?

5- Can I render the first project to another Vegas 8 workable format then MXF, without loosing HD quality??
I HAVE to add those color effects on the whole movie.

    Thanx alot!

Hey Guys I solved it (in a way)
I just add the color effects on the “Video output track” of my first project and everything is just fine. 😉

Still I’m puzzled about the problems while rendering MXF to MXF though!
